Behind every wedding we create, there's a story. And behind our name, Eventos de Seda, there's one too.
“Seda” doesn’t only represent the luxurious, timeless fabric so often associated with dreamy weddings (meaning Silk in English). In our case, it holds a much deeper and personal meaning: SE for Sebas, DA for David. That’s how our name — Eventos de Seda — was born.
Because every wedding we design, organise and coordinate is lovingly crafted by our hands and hearts. Like a loom that weaves invisible threads of love, dedication, empathy and professionalism. That’s how we work. That’s how we dream. That’s how we create.
Our name reflects who we are: a couple who turned their own love story into a way of life. We got married, fell in love with the process… and decided to dedicate our days to helping other couples live their own.

Sebas
I’m Sebas – CEO, Operations Manager and Co-Founder of Eventos de Seda, your trusted Wedding Planners & Designers agency, which I created alongside David, my husband. I was born in Cádiz and grew up in the beautiful village of Los Barrios, in the Campo de Gibraltar. I’m the one who oversees every detail and handles all the logistics to ensure your wedding day is a complete success, because I know how overwhelming and stressful it can be to plan such a big day.
Now, imagine all the complicated stuff suddenly becoming easy. Picture having someone who manages your calendar, communicates with all your vendors and helps you make the best decisions for your wedding. And one more thing: for me, the word “problem” doesn’t exist. I only deal in “solutions”. That’s who I am.
At Eventos de Seda, our mission is to turn every challenge into an opportunity to help you have the wedding you’ve always dreamed of. We're here to ease your worries, make the process smooth, and most importantly—make sure you enjoy every moment of this beautiful journey toward “I do.”
My background is in audiovisual communication, radio and television, which has helped me become a confident public speaker and given me a deep understanding of the media world. I’m also an expert in scheduling and handling all the admin and paperwork needed so that you can fully enjoy your wedding journey—stress-free and simple.
My goal in every wedding is to craft a unique and personalised experience that reflects each couple’s style and essence. I love working as a team with you to ensure your special day turns out exactly as you’ve imagined. At Eventos de Seda, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive and professional service that makes every wedding unique and unforgettable.

David
My name is David, COO and co-founder — along with my husband Sebas — of Eventos de Seda, a Wedding Planners & Designers agency based in Algeciras, Cádiz. I'm originally from Seville and deeply passionate about weddings, design, and decoration. I studied English Philology and Tourism, but my true calling is wedding planning, organisation, design, and coordination. Want to know why?
It all began when I organised my parents’ golden wedding anniversary, and since then, I haven’t stopped falling in love with this profession. In 2018, when Sebas and I planned and designed our own wedding, I knew this was my true vocation. Every moment we dedicated to our big day was a true joy, and that was when I realised I wanted to help other couples make their dream wedding come true.
But to offer the service you truly deserve, I knew I had to go beyond personal experience. Since then, I’ve worked hard to become a true expert in the wedding sector. I enrolled in the prestigious "Wedding Planner to Be" course in Seville, where I had the honour of learning from some of the top professionals in the Spanish wedding industry — my golden girls! I’m forever grateful to them. Afterwards, I completed a master’s degree in "Organisation, Production and Design of Small Events and Protocol" online, as well as a course in "Wedding Design, Creation and Decoration" in Madrid — my other golden girls, thank you endlessly!
Thanks to that training, I am now fully dedicated to Eventos de Seda, working tirelessly to bring your dreams (and mine) to life.
I'm passionate about staying up to date with the latest trends in wedding design and styling, as well as graphic design and social media. I love helping you make your vision a reality, ensuring each wedding is unique, personal, exclusive, and unforgettable.
At Eventos de Seda, I’m in charge of transforming the ideas you have in your mind into a clear, realistic wedding plan. My role covers everything from logistics to graphic design, and my main goal is to keep you focused and grounded at all times — basically, helping you keep your feet on the ground.
Our philosophy is quality over quantity. We prefer to focus on a limited number of weddings to ensure constant and personalised attention. I also believe in building a real connection with our couples — shared values and mutual vibes are essential to working comfortably and effectively together. The feeling has to flow both ways.

When Was Eventos de Seda Born?
Eventos de Seda was born in 2012, when we organised David’s parents’ Golden Wedding Anniversary — a very special event for our family. From that moment, we knew that our true passion was the organisation, planning, design and coordination of weddings.
David’s first contact with the world of wedding planners happened many years ago during one of his summer stays in England, where he discovered this wonderful profession.
In 2016, we embarked on something even more important to us: organising our own wedding. We made the wedding of our dreams come true in spring 2018, in Seville — from a distance.
It was then that we truly understood how essential it is to have an expert supporting you through the process of organising, planning, designing and coordinating a wedding of this magnitude.
We realised how difficult it can be to find time for wedding planning, not knowing where to start, struggling to stick to the budget, lacking knowledge of available suppliers and services, and feeling uncertainty when it comes to managing unforeseen situations — among many other concerns.
That’s why Eventos de Seda was born: to provide solutions to all these issues and to help you create the wedding of your dreams. We don’t just organise weddings — we create personalised experiences based on your unique love story. We know that every love story is incredible; let us make yours a unique and unforgettable experience.

Orange Blossom
Why have we adopted the orange blossom as a distinctive element of our visual identity? At Eventos de Seda, we have carefully chosen this emblematic flower — its selection was not random, but a deeply considered decision. The orange blossom has won our hearts for its captivating fragrance, undeniable beauty, and profound symbolism. Wondering why? This flower represents eternal love, purity, fidelity, and fertility — values that lie at the very heart of everything we do.
We are fascinated by its intoxicating scent and delicate beauty, and we are passionate about the magical season in which it blooms — spring — even if only for a brief time.
The mythological history of the orange tree, from which the orange blossom originates, is equally captivating. In Greek mythology, oranges were considered “golden apples” that granted immortality to those who consumed them.
Even the popular expression “my better half” (or “my other half”) originates from the mythological tale by Aristophanes, which suggests that humans were once spherical beings, like oranges, forever in search of their other half — their inseparable soulmate. The orange blossom, connected to this symbolism, reflects the pursuit of love and perfect union.
The orange blossom also holds a long-standing tradition in ancient times, when brides would carry a small bouquet of these flowers — either in their hands or woven into their hair — symbolising all these beautiful values.
