How we organised Susana & Dani's wedding on the beach of Zahara de los Atunes
On the 18th of June 2022, Zahara de los Atunes became the perfect setting to celebrate Susana and Dani's love. This Asturian couple dreamed of a beach wedding, intimate, authentic and full of meaning. And so it was. At Eventos de Seda we had the privilege of organising, planning, designing and coordinating every detail of their Big Day. Today, we share with you their story, with its own light and indelible memories.
A story that connected from the very first moment.
From their first video call with us, we knew they were a Silk Couple (Pareja de Seda). Despite the distance between Oviedo and Algeciras, we felt their energy, their confidence and their illusion. We connected immediately, and before finishing that call, it was clear to us that we would be part of their love story.
They both wanted a simple but meaningful wedding, on the sand of Zahara, in the Pez Limón beach bar, with their loved ones. We set to work with a clear objective: to design an experience that reflected who they were as a couple.
Susana & Dani's Zahara de los Atunes beach wedding was an unforgettable celebration full of emotion, beauty and love. As wedding planners specialising in destination weddings on the Cadiz coast, at Eventos de Seda we were in charge of organising, planning, designing and coordinating this royal wedding in Zahara, with all the charm of the sea, love and light of the south.
Susana & Dani's wedding in Zahara: Getting to know their essence to create a wedding with soul.
As we do with all our couples, we started with an in-depth questionnaire to get to know their story, their style and their preferences. This allowed us to design a completely personalised wedding:
Venue: Chiringuito Pez Limón, Zahara de los Atunes
Style: Informal, cheerful, without excesses
Colour palette: White, blue and coral
Guests: 30-35 people
Music taste: Los Secretos, Mclan and 80's music
Organising a wedding on the beach in Zahara de los Atunes meant designing with sensitivity: adapting every corner to the natural surroundings and keeping the essence of the bride and groom intact.
Organisation & Planning: Making Everything Flow Seamlessly
Between February and April, everything took shape — we sourced and coordinated suppliers, managed the budget, and created a clear timeline for the big day.

Thoughtful Wedding Design: Every Detail Told Their Story
The décor was custom-designed — from the decorative dossier to the final setup. Inspired by the sea, the southern light, and their simple yet elegant style, we created a cohesive visual narrative. It featured dried and fresh flowers, candles, natural materials and marine elements, perfectly suited for a beach wedding in Zahara de los Atunes.

The Ceremony: Raw Emotion and Timeless Moments
At 7:15 p.m., Dani arrived with his sister to the soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings. Moments later, Susana walked in with her daughter Carla, to She by Elvis Costello. Sebas officiated the ceremony, which was filled with emotion — music, laughter, and heartfelt tears.
A highlight was their sand ritual and the exchange of bracelets instead of rings — a symbolic gesture that beautifully reflected their unique essence.
The Wedding Banquet: Southern Charm with a Taste of the Sea
Together with the team at Pez Limón, we crafted a fresh, marine-inspired menu. Huge thanks to Edu for his constant support. The relaxed boho atmosphere and wooden beach bar structure were the perfect setting for a seaside celebration.
Floral Design & Table Styling: Simple, Soulful, Stunning
With Acanto Flores, we created delicate arrangements using dried and fresh blooms. Placed in glass jars, accented with LED lights and decorative fishing nets, all on hessian runners and natural fabrics. Everything was subtly scented with Ritual of Karma — adding a sea breeze fragrance to the air.
The Party: Good Music, Good People, Pure Joy
Rafa DJ set the perfect mood from the very first track. The party was a success, featuring 80s classics, flamenco touches and endless dancing. Susana & Dani opened the dance floor with La Isla del Amor by Maki.
